Clinical Internship

This much acclaimed programme provides the necessary clinical experience in the United Kingdom as a preparation for the establishment of a graduates' homoeopathic practice.

A supervised attendance at approved registered clinics, within reasonable travelling distance for the student, is arranged by the Institute, for observation of clinical cases with full post consultation analysis with the practitioner.

The internship provides a minimum of 100 hours of recorded clinical experience and instruction in ethics and code of practice to meet or exceed various accreditation standards.

A certificate is awarded on its successful completion

Eligibility

Holders of the General, Veterinary or Pharmacy Diplomas of the Institute , or equivalent awards of other approved college or the Postgraduate Award of the Institute.

Completion of the Clinical Internship normally qualifies the student for the award of the Diploma of the Institute at Practitioner Level, the DIHom (Pract.) Practical assistance is given to all graduates at Homoeopathic practitioner level in establishing a practice in the United Kingdom.

Graduates holding the Institute Diploma are eligible for direct entry to the Postgraduate Course of the Institute (DHM), the award of the Fellowship of the British Institute (FBIH) and the Practitioner Programme.
