This new course provides a comprehensive study of every facet of herbology and herbal medicine created by an expert and experienced team, leading to the award of the Diploma in Herbology (Dip Herb) upon successful completion of the course.

There are no prerequisites other than a good general education.

Introduction / History of Herbal Medicine / Modern Herbal Medical / Botanical Classification of Medicinal Plants / Chemical Classification / Phytomedicines / Preparation and Dosage Forms / Terminology / Therapeutic Application / Herbal Actions / Glossaries / Selected Clinical Trails of Herbal Medicines in Humans / Dosage Ranges from International Pharmacopoeia, National Formulary and Current Practice / Herbal Contraindications / Botanical Cross Reference Materials.

Note: Students who have completed the Institute Course in Nutrition and Herbology will receive credits and a reduction in the Diploma Course fees.
