Veterinary Homeopathy

The institute offers
an Open University style, unique, distance learning course in
the theory and practice of the homeopathic treatment of large
and small, domestic, performance and farm animals.
The course is
presented in two parts - a certified Basic Course and an Advanced
Course. Successful completion of both courses leads to the award
of the Diploma in Veterinary Homeopathy, entitling the holder
to use the letters, D Vet Hom. The duration of study for the
entire course is 500 hours although, as the course is entirely
by home study, students may set their own pace.
Eligibility
BASIC COURSE. (108)
This certified
course is open to veterinary surgeons, pet owners and all those
responsible for the care of domestic animals. It is not a licence
to practice.
ADVANCED COURSE.
(109)
This course, which
follows the Basic Course, is open to veterinary surgeons only,
leading to the award of Diploma in Veterinary Homeopathy.
Course Programme
The Basic Course
comprises 10 written lessons with 5 work assignments, an audiotape
and an examination. Successful students are awarded a Certificate
in Veterinary Homeopathy. The Advanced Course comprises 19 written
lessons with 8 work assignments, videotape and a first and final
examination. Successful students (who must be veterinary surgeons)
are awarded the Diploma in Veterinary Homeopathy, the D Vet
Hom.
